We wanted to thank you for giving us an absolutely perfect wedding day. It was better than we could have ever dreamed and was enjoyed by all who attended. The venue itself is so beautiful which was helpful further by the presence of beautiful sunshine on the day allowing us to take full advantage of the stunning scenary outside as well as in. Fennes is a beautiful setting, with great character. Throughout the lead up to the wedding the staff were so helpful and friendly yet professional. We had an amazing day - one that we will look back on with great memories. The Bridal Cottage was lovely and so were the other guest rooms. I am writing this on behalf of my daughter Gemma who married Darren on the 1th March 2012. Fennes was the perfect wedding venue and was much spoken about by the guests afterwards.. I was of course worried prior to the day that perhaps I had paid for something that might not be perfect or that the food would be a let down etc. I need not have worried everything was lovely, the food was perfect and we were looked after extremelly well so congratulations to the staff. Sharon the wedding manager deserves praise for her efforts so if you are reading this Sharon then thank you. We made use of all the bedrooms overnight and all I can say is that they are beautiful. To sum up, if you are thinking of booking the Fennes then think no longer. It is ideal.

We got married here over 5 years ago and I still get all tingly every time we drive anywhere near Braintree. The staff were all fantastic, we did it rather last minute and I couldn't have asked for a better team to help make our day any more special. The house is stunning and to this day people still talk about how gorgeous the food was.
