The inspiration from the start of our journey

We want to improve everything we do by doing it more sustainably Over the past few years we have gradually made changes to the way we operate, considering every purchase and business decision we make. We are looking for couples and suppliers who are on the same journey as us. Are you one of them?

Purchase locally produced wine and gin from Tuffon Hall

Marketing material is printed on recycled paper and printed by ethical companies.

Websites are hosted by a Green Hosting provider.
Signed with Octopus electric car benefit scheme - promote car pooling to staff members that live close to each other
Staff bought into sustainable changes in the company and their personal lives
Reviewed procurement procedure to purchase from local and or sustainable suppliers
Reduced wastage by changing how we serve our food Developed a comprehensive vegan menu

Partnered with local suppliers, sourcing produce and our meat
Decorating, soft furnishings made from 100% recycled bottles
Hired external recycling company to recycle glass, paper and board
Planted 60 acres of meadows - no use of fertiliser, no ploughing, no journey for feeding horses and cattle
Growing cress and pea shoots in the kitchen
Developed our sustainability policy and strategy
2024 & beyond
All Cleaning products are now sustainable eco-friendly substitutes
To calculate our carbon footprint and contribute to reducing it by continuing with our re-wilding projects on the estate, planting trees, supporting local farmers and suppliers.
Gain Sustainable Wedding Alliance accreditation for our efforts made in reducing our carbon footprint and looking forward to being carbon neutral for Scope 1 and 2

Develop eco-conscious wedding package and to inspire our couples to make more eco-friendly choices.
We are passionate about working with other eco-conscious providers and moving forward will negotiate with suppliers to look at and change their sustainable policies.

We are currently working towards our Sustainable Wedding Alliance accreditation as well as developing our own eco-conscious wedding package and will work with our couples to inspire more choice when it comes to eco-friendly suppliers and choices.
This is just the beginning of our sustainability journey and we are working with our staff to promote health and well-being as well as assisting with more sustainable choices in travel and lifestyle and invite you to join us in making an impact.
