HEALTH AND SAFETY
The safety of our guests, employees and of course, our beautiful venue is of paramount importance to us and with that in mind, we ensure we comply with health and safety regulations in respect of the equipment we supply for your use
We understand you need to bring your own personal items to the venue, but must make you aware that any such equipment, including hair dryers, straighteners, adaptors, chargers etc needs to be in a safe condition.
As a company we reserve the right to prohibit the use if we consider the item to be dangerous. Please be assured that this is solely for your own protection, and of course the protection of our building and all it contains.
Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for personal belongings brought onto or left on the premises.
SMOKING
In accordance with the law in England, and in the interests of the health and safety of all our guests, Fennes operates a strict NO SMOKING policy, including E-Cigarettes. It is an offence to smoke in no-smoking areas. If you wish to smoke, please use the designated areas in the grounds and gardens, and dispose of your cigarette with care. Please note that Fennes will be committing an offence if we do not enforce this legislation.
Each bedroom has a smoke alarm which is very sensitive to cigarette smoke. This will be activated if a person smokes in the room, resulting in a full evacuation of the house. A charge of £250 will be made if there is evidence of smoking in the room.
FIRE PROCEDURE
In the event of a fire alarm sounding, please evacuate the building immediately via the nearest fire exit, and make your way to the Fire Assembly Point in the Car Park and the front of the House.
CAR PARK
All guests are requested to park in the car park or overflow car park. Guest parking outside the main house is prohibited.
IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY
Should you need urgent assistance, there is a telephone beside the bed for your use.
Should you need to call the emergency services, please alert the Wedding and Events Manager or Night Porter, in order for them to offer immediate assistance.

COFFEE AND TEA FACILITIES
We are pleased to provide you with tea and coffee making facilities. If you require replacements, please let our staff know before the end of the evening, as we are unable to offer a nightservice.
FOOD AND DRINK IN THE ROOMS
We respectfully request that you do not bring food or drink from the wedding to your room. A cleaning charge may be levied against the wedding couple’s damage deposit if any mess is made.
If anyone consumes more food or drink than his or her stomach can hold, a standard cleaning charge of £250 will be made.
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served between 9.00am and 10am in The Granary, which is located across from the main house. We take the issue of food allergies and intolerances seriously. If you have any concerns about the presence of allergens in any of our menu items, please ask a member of our team.
CHECKOUT
Rooms must be vacated by 9.00am at the latest.
Please remove your belongings from your room before going to breakfast, enabling our Housekeeping staff clear access to the room for cleaning purposes.

ROOM KEYS
Please hand in your room key to a member of staff at breakfast, this will formalise your checkout.
Any keys not returned will be charged to the wedding couple for the amount of £30.
