Church Weddings

at Fennes

If you’re a traditionalist and would rather opt for a church wedding than a civil ceremony, then we’d love to help you plan your special day.

We’re proud to have a long-standing, close association with the Deanery Church of St Mary the Virgin – a stunning 12th century church located just a mile from Fennes. The church itself is an elegant, gothic-styled church mixing older and modern styles to create a uniquely beautiful location for your church wedding.

We invite all of our couples to make use of our luxurious changing suites prior to their church weddings; allowing you to prepare yourself for the ceremony in comfort before journeying to St Mary’s in a wedding car or carriage.

After the ceremony, you’ll return to Fennes to be greeted by the smiling faces of your nearest and dearest and a drinks reception of your choice.

St Mary’s provides a traditional setting for couples who wish to make their vows and declare their love for each other in the sight of God. The church welcomes couples wishing to discuss the details of their ceremony and for further information or to make contact with the Dean, please visit the St Mary’s website or call on 01376 553092.

“We are always thrilled to welcome couples seeking to get married in church and will do all we can to help you create the perfect ceremony.”

The Revd Rod Reid, Dean of Bocking
