Summer weddings

at Fennes

Summer weddings truly are something special at Fennes. The sunnier months shine a light on our perfectly kept emerald lawns, gorgeous flower arrangements and luxurious Georgian manor house.

Picture the scene – having just tied the knot, you’re whisked away to Fennes in your wedding car with your new bride or groom. Upon your arrival, you’re greeted by the beaming smiles of your guests outside of our picturesque manor house in the glorious sunshine. Waiting for you on a silver tray is either a chilled glass of champagne, or a fruity glass of Pimms with all of the usual trimmings included.

The Summer weather will give your photographer the perfect backdrop for all of your wedding photographs in our house or grounds, whether that’s a beautiful bed of flowers in bloom or one of our reception rooms as the light hits it perfectly.

With your reception drinks and photographs out of the way, it’ll be time to sit down for your first meal as a married couple. We always ensure that there’s a seasonal menu on offer for our Summer weddings, and it’s always prepared by our expert chefs using fresh, local produce.

For Summer weddings, we usually recommend our silk lined pavilion as a location for your celebrations, although our Exclusive-Use nature means that you’ll have your choice of any of our reception rooms for your special day.

After the celebrations are over, your guests will be able to retire to one of our 13 guest bedrooms, whilst you and your partner will finally be given time alone in our romantic Honeymoon Cottage, complete with a jacuzzi.
